Pricing

We currently have dealers that cover most of the hurricane prone areas of the country. This is a relatively new form of protection and we are continuously trying to expand the number of dealers to effectively cover the millions of vulnerable homes in need of this roof strengthening product. Depending on the homeowners location Foam Seal will range from about $1.60 to $1.70 per square foot of roof covering for most at areas.

Installation

The application of Foam Seal Hurricane Adhesive takes approximately two hours per 1,000 square feet of roof and does not require any occupants to be disturbed during the process. A mobile unit, much like a carpet cleaning truck, pulls up to the house, tarps are laid out and the hoses are taken into the attic. A certified applicator then sprays the SF2100 Hurricane Adhesive in a continuous bead throughout the connections of the roof truss to the roof sheathing and along all seams where the sheathing butts together. Applied from inside the attic the Foam Seal product does not affect the exterior look of the roof.

Product

The Foam Seal SF2100 Hurricane Adhesive is a 1 to 1 ratio polyurethane adhesive. It has been specifically designed for bonding sheathing to roof trusses. The system is packaged in two 55-gallon steel drums. It consists of two parts; the “A” (iso) side and the “B” (resin) side. Sprayed on as a liquid it then quickly hardens and bonds into the roofs structure creating a much stronger water-tight barrier then standard nails alone. Where nails fail to keep roofs intact, Foam Seal Hurricane Adhesive helps your roof stay in place by increasing uplift resistance up to five times stronger then current codes.
